This could have been written by me from the posts I have posted to the list over the years. And it makes a very good point. Women tend to undervalue their skills. *Why* does not matter, I see it as a fact all to often with new list members who are just starting out in the web design field (and sadly also in mommies who design web sites in their spare time). And on top of not charging enough for their skills, having a tendency to keep adding in things, doing things that are clearly out of the scope of the original agreement, for the same price, and more and more, because they take it personally, and want to be “liked” or “friends” with their client. It is a business ladies. Yes, you can be nice and liked and give things, but get compensated properly first for your skills. Unless of course you want to continue to be stomped on so you can whine about it. Some women just seem to like to whine about things and not charging enough seems to fit their “modus operandi”
So, what are you worth?
